Knowing pretty much everything else in the mall is Westinghouse (except the Christmas Tree Shops/Bed Bath & Beyond), these are a treat to find, because all I really find are Montgomery, Westinghouse, and Schindler escalators. The only crappy thing about this escalator is that the up escalator sounds like a roller coaster lift hill (in which, I named the title that). This store is the only original store in the mall (meaning not gutted or renovated like Filene's was transformed into the Bed Bath Beyond/Christmas Tree Shops) to not use Westinghouse products. While the elevator is Dover, the escalators in this store are OTIS/SITO's. The store itself was Jordan Marsh (as you can see by the label scar in the intro) when the mall opened in 1984. It was converted to Macy's after the Jordan Marsh bankruptcy in 1996. This Macy's, unlike other locations, seems fairly quaint. Because the store is pretty much completely original, there aren't any shiny white tiles anywhere here or loud music blasting. All you will find here are laminate-wood Gym-like floors and carpeting in some areas.
